THE countdown continues to Marlow's big day of the year - Marlow Town Regatta and Festival, set to take place on June 16 in the picturesque surroundings of Higginson Park.
Regatta goers can expect a wide range of waterborne activities.
The Marlow Free Press is also giving you the chance to compete in the spectacular Dragon Boat races. In these events, long boats decorated with a carved dragon's head and tail are raced by a crew of ten, accompanied by a drummer to keep rhythm.
It usually costs each team £150 to sign up but we are offering a free place for a team of ten on the boat, donated by Dragons Alive for the day.
To enter tell us: What kind of instrument accompanies the team on a Dragon Boat? Answers to David Langton at Marlow Free Press, Gomm Road, High Wycombe, Bucks, HP13 7DW. (Team members must be aged eight or over and able to swim. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.)
