Pensioner fined for phoning ex

A PENYGROES pensioner has admitted molesting his former wife after being ordered by a court not to do so.
David Howard Evans, 69, of 4 Maes y Gors, admitted driving past 5 Saron Road, Saron, and making phone calls to the home of Janet Mary Evans.
He was fined £100 for each offence, with prosecution costs of £85 and a £15 victim surcharge, under the Family LawAct.
He was made the subject of a nonmolestation order at Llanelli County Court on October 21 of last year. But he made phone calls to Mrs Evans on June 13 and drove along Saron Road on June 21, which he was forbidden from doing under the terms of the order.
