A former student at Coleg Sir Gar Ammanford campus has today admitted preparing to sell ecstasy.
Adam Mark Thomas, aged 21, appeared before Judge Keith Thomas at Swansea Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Thomas, who is taking a plastering course, admitted possessing a quantity of the Class A drug in an unnamed pub on July 1 last year with intent to supply.
Judge Thomas agreed to postpone sentencing to allow time for a probation officer to prepare a report into his background.
But he warned Thomas it was "something of a luxury" and might not affect the eventual outcome.
He told Thomas, of Llys yr Hen Felin, Llanelli, that the most likely sentence would be one of immediate prison and he should prepare himself.
Thomas was granted bail until a sentencing hearing on July 13.
