Leekes have received a High Sheriff of Dyfed Award in recognition of their charitable work and the contribution this makes to improving local lives. The company has the NSPCC as its nominated charity and the award recognises the long term commitment they have made to the charity and the significant amount of money Leekes have raised to support their work in Wales.

Commenting after receiving the award, Emma Leeke, Managing Director of Leekes Retail added, “We are so proud to be recognised with the High Sheriff of Dyfed Award for our charitable work. It’s a huge honour for us to have our commitment to the NSPCC recognised with this prestigious award. I am delighted that with the support of my family, the wider Leekes team and our suppliers, we have been able to raise close to £200,000 for the NSPCC during the ten years they have been our company charity and we are committed to continuing our support with a wide range of challenges and activities planned over the next few months.”

Presenting the award to the management team at Leekes Cross Hands, High Sheriff, Mrs Susan Balsom said, “I congratulate you warmly and thank you for your ongoing charitable commitments which make such a significant contribution to improving the lives of Welsh children.”
