Dyfed-Powys Police is trying to trace the next of kin of a 58-year-old lady who sadly died as a result of a road traffic collision in Llandeilo.

It is believed the female pedestrian was hit by a car while walking along the B4302 road between Llanedilo and Talley at around 6pm on January 29, 2018.

Police are yet to inform the lady’s next of kin of her death as they have been unable to find anyone linked to her.

From investigation, it has been established that the deceased went by different names including Pasqual Lorentz and Gwendy Elizabeth Tolley and she appears to have links in the Birmingham and London areas of England.

Investigating officer, PC Sara John, said: “We have made extensive enquiries in an attempt to trace any relatives of the lady who has sadly died as a result of a road traffic collision.

“We know that she went by several different names and had links to the Birmingham and London areas, however we have now exhausted all other lines of enquiry and appealing for information via the media and social media is our final attempt to find her next of kin.

“This is a really saddening situation and while it is unpleasant news we have to deliver to any next of kin, it is our duty as police to make every attempt to find someone to let them know what has happened.

“She was well known in the local area, but lived alone and did not have any relatives living locally.

“I urge anyone who recognises these names or the lady in the photographs to please, get in touch with Dyfed-Powys Police urgently.”

Anyone who knows this lady and can help police identify her next of kin is asked to call 101 and ask for Dyfed-Powys Police, quoting reference DP-20180129-279. If you are Deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired, text the non-emergency number on 07811 311 908.
