AN AMMANFORD woman who threatened to burn her neighbours flat down after her complaints of a ‘dancing naked man’ and antisocial teenagers outside her home were ‘ignored’, has pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer.

A court was told that the woman was one of the most aggressive females the officer had dealt with in career.

Dawn Michelle Williams told Llanelli magistrates court she had had a ‘naked man dancing outside [her] window for 15 minutes’ and had trouble with antisocial behaviour from teenagers.

Williams, of Clos y Coleg, Iscennen Road, Ammanford, said: “I called Gwalia Housing about the problems and they didn’t want to know, so I threatened to burn the place down.”

Prosecutor Sharon Anderson said: “On July 16 police were called to her property to reports of verbal threats being made and damage to a neighbour’s flat.

“Police spoke to the defendant and she became agitated, telling them to ‘sod off’.

“She said if they wanted to arrest her they would have to do it by force, telling the police officer,‘I’m not going anywhere, pal.’”

Williams was sat in the police car seat she “raised her knee and extended her leg out kicking him twice to the right thigh and bicep.”

This caused bruising and soreness and the officer said Williams had been one of the most aggressive females he had dealt with over the four years of his career.

When police questioned her about the incident, Williams apologised.

She said: “I have requested for something to be done by the housing association.

“I have had 18 teenagers by my front door.

“I’m 43, I find that intimidating.

“I’ve been terrorised in my own home.”

Williams pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer in the execution of his duty last week.

Magistrates said they appreciated Williams’ situation but said she had nonetheless pleaded guilty to the assault.

Williams was fined £80, ordered to pay £85 costs, £30 victim surcharge and £50 in compensation to the officer.
