Marie Curie are asking for a helping hand collecting donations in Ammanford town centre next week.
Marie Curie are asking for anyone looking to make a difference and help support the 19 Carmarthenshire nurses who provided over 11,000 hours of care to 345 patients last year..
Chris Roberts, Community Fundraiser for Marie Curie said: “We are looking to recruit collectors to ‘paint the town yellow’ on Friday August 18.
“We’ll even kit you out in our fantastically eye-catching Marie Curie hat and tabard.
“Contact our Llanelli Office now to book onto the collection and have fun with your fellow volunteers.”
Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness, and their families.
They have been carrying out this work for over 65 years.
