A pro-celebrity charity football match is taking place in Llandeilo this weekend.

World, European and Commonwealth medalist Christian Malcolm, former Blackburn defender Colin Hendry, ex-Eastenders actor Matt Lapinskas and Pobl y Cwm star Aled Llyr Thomas are all warming up to play the football match at Tre-Gib Sports Facilities in Ffairfach this Sunday, June 4.

The Call Centre’s Nev Whilshire and Chickehead will also be on the celebrity team alongside Big Brother 14 winner Sam Evans, MTV The Valleys star Aron Williams, Pancho from Dirty Sanchez, Darts player Jamie Lewis, former Swansea City players Andrew Mumford and Chris Todd, Former Leeds midfielder Matt Jones, Gavin Lee Lewis off ad Education, BBC actor Liam Hatch and Plaid Cymru candidate for Carmarthen East and Dinefwr Jonathan Edwards.

The famous faces will be taking on a local football team.

Spectators can donate through a collection bucket before or during the match and refreshments will be available at the game.

The football match is in aid of Ty Hafan and is set to kick-off at 3pm.
