Ammanford police is appealing for information after a man was "punched in the face" while walking his dog.
The alleged assault took place at around 7.30pm on Tuesday, March 14 behind Berrington Villas near the tin works in Ystradowen.
A spokesperson for Ammanford police said: "The male suspect is described as white skinned with a Welsh accent. He is stocky in build, five foot, eight inches tall; aged late 40s with a fair complexion. He has cropped dark hair and is clean shaven. He may have had a tribal type tattoo on his neck and he has tattoos on his hands. He was wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt. The suspect also has a dog which is similar to a black Labrador."
