Eastbound carriageway of the A48 near Ffoelgastell junction was closed earlier today
THE eastbound lane of the A48 dual carriageway near Ffoelgastell has re-opened after a road accident earlier this morning.
The incident involving one vehicle occurred between the Ffoelgastell junction and Llandeilo Road turning at Cross Hands roundabout.
Drivers are being urged to take care with plummeting temperatures at night and early morning icy conditions.
A spokesperson for Wales Ambulance Service said: “Shortly after 8.30am, a paramedic in a rapid response car came across a two-vehicle accident on the eastbound carriageway of the A48 in the Foelgastell area of Llanelli. One person was given a precautionary check-up.”
