THE festive season starts this weekend in Llandeilo with the annual Festival of the Senses.

The Christmas starts this Friday, November 18 and runs throughout the weekend until the Sunday.

With shops located all across the town there is plenty for you to choose from. You can make your experience at the Festival of Senses whatever you want it to be.

There will be craft stalls in the Llandeilo Civic Hall, a fashion area in Horeb Chapel and also a main stage, food stalls on King Street as well as a food tent in the main town car park.

One of the main attractions is the late night shopping on the Friday night, when all the shops and stalls remain open till late with special offers for their customers.

Also, on the Friday, Santa visits the town and meets children in King Street where there will be entertainment taking place on the outdoor stage. The day also includes the switching on the Christmas lights at 7pm and a fireworks display from Penlan Park.

The fun filled entertainment continues over the Saturday and Sunday with acts such as local choirs, children’s entertainers, street food and of course plenty of shopping so you can crack on buying your Christmas gifts.
