A CROSS Hands garden machinery specialist is set to raise cash for the Wales Air Ambulance charity as it hosts an open day event.

Jenkins Garden Machinery will use the open day, which takes place on Friday and Saturday, April 22 and 23 to showcase its range of garden machinery while raising much needed funds for the charity.

Managing director Emyr Jenkins said: “Many of our customers have been dealing with us in one way, shape or form for over 40 years.

“My family, through my father, has built the business up on a platform of excellence in all things. Offering good practical advice on our range of garden machinery, ensuring people get the machine the need, rather than just selling them any machine means they appreciate the person touch and the effort we make with every customers.

“We have a huge customer base in the rural community in south west Wales which makes Wales Air Ambulance an ideal partner with the vital work they do in this area and across the country.

“We are looking forward to a fabulous event which helps our customers, both new and established, with demonstrations of a wide variety of equipment throughout the two day event. There will be something for everybody too with a family fun day with a bouncy castle (weather permitting), barbeque and a charity balloon race.”

The firm will be running a shuttle service for customers both to and from the demonstration field.

Emyr added: “We would like to thank our suppliers for their help in making this event possible and we look forward to seeing our customers over the two day event.”
