With World Cup fever running high, here’s a picture from the past to inspire even more confidence for Wales’ remaining group matches - the William Webb Ellis trophy in Welsh hands.

The World Cup made a quick pit stop in Ammanford in 1999 as part of the celebrations to mark the official opening of the Millennium Stadium and Wales' selection as host nation.

And while Australia may have secured victory that year (beating Wales in the quarter finals), Ammanford mayor Judith Evans and the late Cllr Bill Spencer got to lift the cup.

Following Saturday’s famous victory over England, the nation will be hoping Sam Warburton's men will be following in Judith's footsteps to get their hands on the trophy.
