THREE motorists have been fined by Llanelli magistrates for driving while using mobile phones.
Ceri Gwyn Davies, aged 36, of 65 Glynhir Road, Pontarddulais, admitted using a phone while driving in Ammanford in December and was fined £135 with three points, £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
Robert Peter Price, aged 69, of 30 Pen yr Alltwen Park, Rhos, Pontardawe, was fined £215 with a £22 victim surcharge and £85 costs for using his phone at Ystradgynlais in November. He pleaded guilty and his licence was endorsed with three points.
Magistrates also convicted Robert Williams, aged 43, of Raven Hill, Ravens Hill, Llangadog, in his absence of using a phone while traveling through Llangadog in November and fined him £200 with three points, £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
