TWO kittens have been found abandoned in a cardboard box in a Tumble park.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a member of the public discovered them in a taped up Coors beer box on June 22.

They are thought to be about 10 to 12 weeks old.

RSPCA inspector Chris Coleman said: “These kittens were just abandoned in this box in a wooded area at the park. Luckily they were found by a member of the public who contacted us.

“The kittens weren’t really young - but about 10-12 weeks. They are the most delightful and friendliest cats.”

The two kittens are now in RSPCA care.

Anyone with information can contact the RSPCA inspectorate appeal line on 0300 123 8018.

All calls are treated in confidence.
