A man and woman had to be cut from their vehicle following a collision between a Ford Fiesta and a Suzuki Jeep on the A40 on Wednesday afternoon.
The couple, along with the driver of a second car, required hospital treatment following the collision shortly near Llandeilo.
Air ambulance, fire, ambulance and police crews all attended the scene.
A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Police attended a road traffic collision on the A40 Llandeilo to Nantgaredig road just before 2.30pm on Wednesday, February 18.
“Fire, ambulance and air ambulance also attended the scene to assist a male and female trapped in one of the vehicles and a lone female in the other.
“All received injuries and were conveyed to hospital.”
The road was cleared by 4.15pm.
