Youngsters at Ysgol Llangadog have been celebrating the publication of the latest inspection report which declared the school “good” in all aspects.

The Estyn team praised the achievements of pupils in becoming “confidently bilingual” by the end of Key Stage Two.

Attendance levels and behaviour were also high and inspectors praised the learning experience as stimulating and said the prospect of further improvement was good.

“The school is thrilled to receive such a glowing report and sees it as recognition of the hard work of staff and governors and support of parents,” said headteacher Aled Rees.
