YOUNGSTERS at a Llandybie nursery have getting into the season of goodwill early this year by sharing their festive treats with those less well off.
The children at cylch meithrin Plant Bach y Llan have been ensuring everyone will be able to enjoy Christmas by bringing in extra treats, selection boxes, stocking fillers and festive goodies.
The items have all been donated to Ammanford Food Bank for distribution to struggling families in the area.
During its first 18 months of operation, the foodbank has helped feed more than 1,300 people, including 500 children, with over 10 tonnes of food.
Jonathan Thomas, pastor of Ammanford Evangelical Church which houses the Foodbank said: “We are so grateful to all those who give food, finances and time to make sure that the people of Ammanford and the area continue to receive the help that they need.”
