A NEW phase of work could begin at a Towy Valley tourist spot is planners at Carmarthenshire County Council give permission.
The Aberglasney Restoration trust are seeking full and listed building consent for work on the piggeries at Aberglasney Gardens, Llangathen.
Work would include repairing the remains on the south piggery range and north cowshed, inserting a door on the east wall of the pigsty and rebuilding missing walls and a roof.
They also seek permission to construct an aluminium glasshouse, cold-frames and internal partitions and to construct Calor gas tanks, boiler house and biomass districts as well as installing new sewage treatment plants and resurfacing paths and the car park.
