APPROVAL to change the use of a former Post Office into an employment agency office is being sought from Carmarthenshire County Council planners.

Introteach are seeking to retain change of use permission for their base on the ground floor of London House, Cefneithin Road, Gorslas. The post office closed some years ago.

LLANDEILO Fire Station could have extra facilities if plans for an extension are approved by county planners.

The plans from Mid and West Fire and rescue would see a single storey extension to rear/side of the premises on Carmarthen Road to be used for new male toilets, a drying room and a new locker room to improve current facilities.

PLANNERS at Carmarthenshire County Council have received a planning request or a garage conversion.

Diane Hendry is seeking full planning to convert an existing garage into a room at 21 Craig Letty, Upper Tumble.

They will also consider plans to convert an existing flat roof at the rear of 6 Werndu Road, Ammanford, into a hipped roof.

The plans, submitted by Richard Brooks would also see the re-slating of the existing north face.
