The All Saint's Church tower and clock were built in memory of those men from Ammanford who died at war.

A Remembrance Board is displayed at the entrance of the clock tower.

For Health and Safety reasons, there is currently no access to the entrance of the tower while a major restoration project continues, but the Remembrance Board will be visible

Canon Michael Rees, working in conjunction with Major Ken Burton of the British Legion, welcome the community and those organisations who always support the Armistice Service, to this most poignant of occasions.

The event will be an opportunity for the town of Ammanford to pay their respects at the memorial built specifically to honour those of its sons who paid the ultimate price in the name of duty.

The service is due to take place on September 7 from 5pm.
