DONTATION: A charity golf day, organised by Tracey Evans has raised £3,000for BLAS - Life After Stroke, Ammanford, in memory of husband Aled.
The widow of Aled Evans, who died of a strike while on holiday in Portugal 18 months ago, has helped raised £3,000 in his memory.
Tracey Evans and cousin Wyn, together with family and friends, raised the money, which has been donated to BLAS – Life After Stroke, Ammanford, at a charity day at Palleg Golf Club recently.
The group has expressed its gratitude for the donation, which will enable it to continue working with and supporting stroke survivors and their carers.
BLAS meets each Wednesday at the Pensioners Hall, Ammanford, between 10am and noon.
