Carmarthenshire residents are being warned to check their travel plans if they plan to use public transport over the Easter break.

Traveline Cymru is urging those looking to get out and about during the holiday to use its free transport information service to keep abreast of the latest changes after it announced changes to service patterns.

Carmarthenshire County Council has said there will be changes to subsidised services on Good Friday – April 18 and there will be no subsidised buses on Easter Sunday and Monday – April 20 and 21.

Graham Walter, general manager of Traveline Cymru, said: “It is important that people are aware that public transport services will be subject to change over the Easter period.

“Our suite of services are regularly updated with the latest travel information so we’re urging people to check them before traveling.

“We have a number of ways people can access travel information – through our bilingual website, app, call centre and via our social media channels – so we hope to keep Wales moving over the Easter break.”

Traveline Cymru provides a ‘one-stop-shop’ for travel information in Wales.
