JAILED: David Jonh Jones, of Berrington Villas in Cwmllynfell, has been jailed for 10 months.
A SWANSEA Valley pensioner has been jailed after he admitted sexual activity for a child.
David John Jones, aged 74, appeared at Swansea crown court on Thursday where he was sentenced to ten months behind bars.
Jones, of 4 Berrington Villas in Cwmllynfell, pleaded guilty to a charge of sexual activity with a girl aged under 16.
The offence took place on July 12, 2013.
Jones was also ordered to pay a £100 victim surcharge.
In addition to his jail sentence, Jones was told his name would be included on the sexual offenders register.
