Residents of the Upper Swansea and Amman Valleys can enjoy improved transport links to Neath thanks to a new bus service.
DANSA Community Transport is providing a 16-seat minibus transfer service with pick-ups in Ystradowen, Cwmllynfell, Cefnbrynbrain, Brynaman, Gwaun cae Gurwen, Tairgwaith and Cwmgors every Wednesday.
The service has been arranged thanks to a Sustainable Hubs grant.
The bus returns approximately two-and-a-half hours after dropping off in the town.
Concessionary pass holders can enjoy the service free of charge while fare-paying passengers will be charged £6 for a return ticket.
The service runs on a first-come, first-served basis and passengers must telephone the DANSA office at least 24 hours before travelling to book a place.
DANSA Community Transport is a social enterprise based in the Dulais Valley offering accessible and affordable transport solutions in rural areas of Neath Port Talbot.
For more information or to book a seat, contact DANSA on 01639 751067.
