WHEN did time become more important than consideration?
Just consider the vehicles with a pillbox vision hole or a swish of the wiper blade driving about during the recent bad spell. Or the ostrich mums with their head in the car, door wide open and oblivious to anything; the cyclist scattering people in the pedestrian zone; the speeding motorist using a phone at the wheel.
Time is a killer! Perhaps the answer would be to take some time away from those who offend.
For every one mph over the speed limit, delay them for five minutes or put them on a parked Park&Ride bus, charge £5 for the privilege and take all phones, computers and papers away and let them stew and reflect on their actions. Cyclists can have a naughty corner to stand in.
They should all be allowed one phone call to explain the delay.
