THE woman behind Ammanford’s planned world record attempt on the largest number of Santa’s elves ever assembled, said this week: “I knowwe can do it.”
Gail Jones, community liaison officer for Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd, said the attempt to break the current record of 607 would be held in Quay Street on Saturday, November 17, the day of the town’s Christmas lights switchon.
“Adult and children’s elf outfits will be on sale at Lil’ Alfis and I will be in the Magnolia Tree each Friday with application forms,” she said.
