Ecstasy charges dropped

A SARON woman accused of possessing the drug ecstasy has seen her name cleared and all charges dropped.

Catrin Sian Jones, of 82 Saron Road, attended Swansea Crown Court on Friday for a case management hearing, only to discover that the Crown Prosecution Service was to offer no evidence against her and that the charge was to be withdrawn.

The 33-year-old had maintained her innocence since first being accused of possessing the Class A drug last December.
