PLANS to install a footbridge over the stream at the Palais site in Garnant are under way, members of the Amman Valley Group of Town and Community Councils have learned.
Members were told that the development of the Twrch Trwyth Trail, or Amman Valley Riverside Walk and Cycleway, was funded by the Welsh Government.
Other work on the route included ongoing discussions with Neath Port Talbot council regarding the sections in the upper Amman Valley, including the last remaining section within Carmarthenshire from Lower Brynaman to Rhosaman.
