Maesybont driver’s 6-month ban
12:20pm Saturday 30th June 2012 in News
A WOMAN whose car was booked for passing the same speed camera at 35mph twice in four days has been banned from driving for six months.
Kymm Kitten, 32, of Gorswen, Maesybont, was also ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £1,115 by Llanelli magistrates, who ruled that her disqualificationwas necessary because of repeat offending.
Kitten’s Skoda Octavia broke the limit at Gorslas on June 9 of last year and June 13, the court was told. She was convicted of one offence of failing to identify the driver and one of speeding.
The defendant was fined £300 and ordered to pay prosecution costs of £250 for each offence, with a £15 victim surcharge.
Kitten, who was not in court, was convicted in her absence of the first offence and denied the second.
