Library goes wi-fi
8:10am Tuesday 12th June 2012 in News
FREE wi-fi access is now available at Ammanford Library following recent IT developments.
To use the service people must be aged 18 or over and must be a library card holder.
It is free to become a member of Carmarthenshire libraries.
All that is needed is a form of identification such as a driving licence, passport or council tax bill.
Members can then sign up for the wi-fi services and will be issued with a unique password which will allow them to use their own wirelessenabled devices anywhere in the building. The password must be used on each occasion to access the wi-fi facilities.
The free service offered within Carmarthenshire Libraries is an open unsecured and filtered network provided for the convenience of members and its use is solely at personal risk.
There are no printing facilities available and devices must be battery operated.
