THIRTY-SIX brave souls recently completed a firewalk to raise more than £5,000 for Amman Valley Women’s Aid.

Organisers would like to thank Dave and Elaine Baker (Dainefotographics), Betws RFC, Blaze, Gareth Evans, Peepshow, If all else fails, Organised Kaos, Pethau Poeth, Helen Norman of Harmony, Cara Gibson, Miskin Manor, TRJ and St John Ambulance.

“We would particularly like to thank everyone who sponsored us to do the walk and thank each and every one of those who took part in the firewalk (too numerous to mention) for their massive fundraising efforts – we are incredibly proud of them all,” said a spokeswoman for Amman Valley Women’s Aid.

“We will be holding another fundraising event next year to coincide with Amman Valley Women’s Aid’s 20th birthday – watch this space.”
