AMMAN Valley rugby legend Shane Williams will be seeking to go out with a bang when he makes possibly his final appearance for the Ospreys at the Liberty Stadium on Friday night.
Wales’ record try scorer knows that the match against the Dragons will be his last at the Liberty should the Ospreys fail in their bid to secure a home semifinal in the Pro12.
Responding to well-wishers on Twitter this week, Shane, 35, joked: “Anyone would think I was retiring!”
But the valley’s most famous rugby son will not be taking things easy.
Apart from extensive media work, Shane is channeling his energies into a new gym due to open shortly in his home village of Glanaman. It is understood the gym will be offering fitness techniques and treatments Shane underwent during his 87-cap international career.
