THE ‘Wolfman’ of Pantyffynnon tips remains elusive, Ammanford police have admitted .
The Guardian reported last week how the hunt for eccentric Wayne Morgan was now a missing person’s investigation – and Mr Morgan’s dad, Arfon, had urged him to come forward.
The Dyfed-Powys Police helicopter, using thermal imaging equipment, carried out a sweep over the woods while officers entered the tips.
It is understood they inspected a number of hides, composed of corrugated iron sheeting and containing quilts and bedding.
Posters will now be put up in the woods in a bid to encourage Mr Morgan to assure his family he is okay.
