NICK Bourne, leader of the opposition in the Assembly, has added his support to a Towy Valley community’s bid for Lottery cash.

Village SOS is an initiative by the Big Lottery Fund and the BBC to inspire rural revival. One of the shortlisted projects is Made in Myddfai, which aims to create a whole new range and brand of craft products from the village, which is where Prince Charles has his Welsh home.

“I am delighted to support Myddfai’s bid for cash from the Big Lottery Fund,” said Mr Bourne.

“This project shows how inventive, committed and community-minded the people of Myddfai are.

If successful, it will provide a fantastic boost to the area.”
