A 76-year-old Talley motorist was ordered to pay £155 after he admitted running a red light at the Llangadog level crossing. Thomas Idris Llewellyn Davies, of Gelli Cefn y Rhos, failed to stop at the crossing while driving a silver Suzuki Ignis hatchback on April 27. Magistrates fined Davies £80 and endorsed his licence with three penalty points. He was also told to pay £60 and a £15 surcharge.
