A YOUNG man is in a serious condition in hospital after being discovered unconscious on the Amman Valley railway line late on Friday night.
Police who attended the scene near the Half Moon pub in Garnat at around 11pm following a call from a concerned member of the public found a 23-year-old man lying on the tracks.
It is believed he fell from a nearby footbridge.
The man is now seriously ill in Morriston Hospital and police investigations are continuing.
