Prospects:
Ammanford have strengthened their squad with a few useful looking signings.
Two new strikers have arrived in ex-Llanelli frontman Nathan Jones and Mark Smolka and the club has also attracted James Bonner-Evans, younger brother of Ospreys no.8 Nathan.
The club is also boosted by the fact that three promising young talents have graduated from the U16 academy - Rhys Culley, Nathan Jones and Matthew Fisher. Former player Mark James also makes a welcome return from Pontardawe.
Only one player has left the club - full-back Craig Maloney has moved up a division, signing for Skewen.
Anthony Rees and Neil Petherbridge will lend a helping hand with coaching duties throughout the season with John Jones as 2nd team coach.
Christian Lloyd captains the seconds, which is boosted by the capture of Paul Arnold.
Club captain Steven Evans and Rhodri Robinson are still absent with long-term injuries.
Ammanford have made a decent start to the new campaign and if they can turn some draws into positive results, they could be in the mix come the business end of the season.
