Carmarthenshire and Neath Port Talbot players will face off against England in the 2024 Women's Six Nations.

Head coach Ioan Cunningham has prepped the Wales team with Brynaman's Hannah Jones as captain and former Llandovery College pupil Carys Phillips taking a starting position.

Pontarddulais' Keira Bevan and former Penybanc RFC player Alisha Butchers, will be on the bench.

The Six Nations clash is set for March 30th at Ashton Gate, Bristol.

This game follows a previous Six Nations opener in which Wales played against Scotland, attracting a crowd of 6,676 spectators at the Arms Park.

Cunningham said: "We have made six changes to face England in Bristol and are under no illusions of the challenge facing us."

He highlighted how all Wales squad members play their club rugby in England which according to him, is recognised as the best league in the world.
