A man is charged with attempting to possess a firearm and ammunition.
A GLANAMAN man is accused of attempting to get hold of a pistol.
Elwyn Downing, 46, of Cwmamman Road, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court where he faced two offences.
Downing was charged with attempting to possess a firearm and attempting to possess ammunition for a firearm without a certificate.

He was accused of trying to get his hands on a Glock 26 pistol and 10 rounds of 9mm ammunition in Ammanford on March 13.
Downing was remanded in to custody at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on March 14.
He will appear at Swansea Crown Court to enter his pleas on April 15.
