Ammanford's Hair Studio 71 wins Hair Loss Clinic of the Year

Hair Studio 71 is a hair replacement salon which was founded in May 2021 by Rhys Jones after noticing that there was a distinct lack of options for people in south Wales who needed hair replacement services. Rhys himself is a hair system wearer and this gives the salon an extra special touch as he understands that thinning hair and total hair loss can be devastating and really damage the self-esteem and confidence of the person as he has experienced it himself.

“The idea of Hair Studio 71 came about because we found that there was a lack of hair replacement services in south Wales, and having to travel long distances makes it unaffordable when hair replacement services can be made affordable without sacrificing on quality,” said Rhys. “We will help you deal with the emotional impact of your hair loss and take control again. Everyone deserves to shine and feel beautiful.”

The salon is a non-surgical hair replacement salon which uses glue or tape to attach a custom-made hair system to the scalp.

The hair loss solutions are suitable for men and women and for a range of hair loss reasons including chemotherapy, radiology, alopecia, genetics, pattern baldness, stress, lupus, menopause, gender transition and many more.

Last month, Hair Studio 71 won its first award – the Hair Loss Clinic of the Year 2023 at The Welsh Beauty Industry Awards 2023 – and Rhys is overjoyed.
