THESE four drivers were recently in court for speeding offences.

Richard Daryl Morgan, 37, of Cwmdu Road, Cilmaengwyn, Pontardawe, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on December 29.

He was caught on February 9 doing 45mph in a Vauxhall Vivaro on Ynysmeudwy Road, Pontardawe, where the limit was 30mph.

He was given five points on his licence and ordered to pay £192 fine, £76 surcharge and £90 costs.

Hadleigh Richard Austin Hobbs, 39, of Talley, Llandeilo, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on January 2.

He was caught on June 16 doing 58mph in an MG 5 Trophy, on the M4 westbound near Port Talbot, where the limit is 50mph.

He was given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £100 fine, £40 surcharge and £90 costs.

Oran Francis, 21, of Norman Road, Ammanford, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on January 3.

He was caught on June 7 doing 35mph in a Toyota Corolla on Cockett Road, Cockett, where the limit was 30mph.

He was given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £153 fine, £62 surcharge and £90 costs.

Jonathan Griffiths, 35, of Gwyn Street, Alltwen, Pontardawe, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on January 3.

He was caught on June 2 doing 38mph in a Skoda Octavia on the A4241 Afan Way at the junction with Victoria Road, Port Talbot, where the limit was 30mph.

He was given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £207 fine, £83 surcharge and £90 costs.
