THESE people from the Swansea Valley, Amman Valley and Towy Valley were punished by the courts for not giving police information.

Rhodri Jones, 25, of Swansea Road, Pontardawe, was found guilty of failing to provide information by Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 10 and received his punishment on December 8.

He committed the offence on May 31 when he failed to provide South Wales Police with information relating to the identity of the driver of a Mitsubishi which was believed to have been involved in an earlier offence.

He was banned from driving for six months and ordered to pay £660 fine, £264 surcharge and £90 costs.

Jason Karl Huxtable, 49, of Lon Tanyrallt, Alltwen, Pontardawe, was found guilty of failing to provide information by Cardiff Magistrates Court on December 11.

Steven Salter, 59, of Brecon Road, Ystradgynlais, was found guilty of failing to provide information by Cardiff Magistrates Court on December 12.

He committed the offence on July 3 when he failed to provide South Wales Police with information relating to the identity of the driver of a Jaguar S-Type which was believed to have been involved in an earlier speeding offence.

Gavin Dean Griffiths, 50, of Bronhaul, Cyngyhordy, Llandovery, was found guilty of failing to provide information by Cardiff Magistrates Court on December 13.
