ARREST warrants have been issued for two defendants accused of failing to comply with court orders.

One of the defendants was alleged to have failed to attend appointments after she was released from prison, while the other is said to have failed to attend his induction days after being handed a community order.

The cases were heard at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court.

Here’s a round-up of the cases.

RACHEL HINTON, 49, of Maes Y Fron in Garnant, was accused of failing to comply with her supervision requirements after she was released from prison.

Hinton was alleged to have failed to attend office appointments on October 25, November 1 and November 8.

An arrest warrant was issued at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on December 11.

CHRISTOPHER BALL, 39, of near Llandovery, has been accused of failing to comply with a community order just days after it was made.

Ball was handed a one-year community order at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on November 13 after being caught drug driving on the M4 on January 18, and driving without a licence or insurance and failing to provide a specimen for analysis on October 22 in Cross Hands.

However, his case was back before the court after failing to attend a probation service induction on November 16 and on November 21.

A warrant for Ball’s arrest was issued on December 11 at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court.
