OVER the years, towns, cities and villages change a lot, whether there are complete revamps or just changes to the fronts of buildings.

The main change we see is usually new shops replacing old, but occasionally we also see completely new buildings in place of old ones.

Although sometimes, things never seem to change, which is what much of Ammanford has been like over the last decade.

Here we take a look at how much (or in this case little) has changed in Ammanford between 2011 and 2022, by looking at some key areas in the town on Google’s Street View and comparing them.

In two of the three areas we take a look at, the only thing that’s changed has been the stores, and in the third we can see how Coaltown Coffee Roasters transformed an old industrial building into their main roastery on Foundry Road.
