A CANADIAN band will be heading to Ystradgynlais next month.
Gordie MacKeeman and The Rhythm Boys will be bringing their lice show to the town in July.
Gordie has been classed as a ‘natural showman’ and is an ace fiddle player who is nicknamed ‘crazy legs’ due to his loose-limbed step dancing.
He will be joined by his multi-instrumentalist friends in the Rhythm Boys, with each skilled on multiple instruments, allows for an ‘unstoppable roots music force.’
They bring an eclectic sound of bluegrass, old time country, folk, rockabilly, swing and Celtic and have toured across the world including Edinburgh and Australia.
Gordie MacKeeman and The Rhythm Boys will be at Ystradgynlais’ Welfare Hall on July 7 from 7.30pm.
Tickets cost between £11-£21 in a pay what you can deal and are available from the box office on 01639 843163.
