Attendees will also see military history on display at the fair including a Welsh Fusiliers bugle/horn with a distinctive Glengarry badge for the 23rd Foot, Royal Welsh Fusiliers. It is believed it dates to the Victorian era.

The Welsh Fusiliers was created to help fight against James II in Ireland in March 1689, first seeing action in the 1690 Battle of the Boyne. The unit also fought at Athlone and Aughrim and served at Namur in 1695.

It was given 'royal' status in 1713 after the War of the Spanish Succession and has a rich history fighting in many battles up to the present day, all across the world. Some of the notable battles include the Zulu War of 1879 and both the First and Second World Wars.

The history of the regiment is told in the Royal Welsh Regiment Museum in Brecon with a wide range of items from across the years.

There will be refreshments on offer.

Llandeilo Antique and Vintage Fair will take place on Saturday, March 4 at the Civic Hall, Llandeilo between 10am 4pm. Entry is £1 and car parking is close to the hall.
