TWO drivers have been in court recently for multiple offences including failing to stop after an accident.

Rylie Brinsden, 18, of Highbury Close, Cwmbwrla, admitted three driving charges at Llanelli Magistrates Court on December 7.

All the charges related to August 26 when driving a Citroen DS3 on the A4138 Hendy.

Brinsden admitted a charge of being the driver of a vehicle involved in a road accident and failed to report it. The collision caused damage to a Ford Ka.

There was also a charge of failing to stop after a road accident and a charge of driving without due care and attention.

Brinsden was given six points on the licence, fined £183 and had to pay £73 surcharge and £110 costs.

Nicholas Rhodes, 23, of Ochr y Waun, Cwmllynfell, admitted three driving charges at Llanelli Magistrates Court on December 7.

The charges relate to an incident on May 2 on the A4068 Bethel Road, Ystradgynlais, where he was driving a Volkswagen Golf.

He admitted to a charge of being the driver of a vehicle and failing to stop after a road accident where damage was caused to a Mini Cooper.

He also admitted to a charge of driving without insurance and a charge of driving without due care and attention.

He was fined £440 and given seven points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge and £110 costs.

Rhodes escaped a driving ban due to mitigating circumstances.
