HERE are the region’s speeding drivers who have recently appeared in court.

Zoe Louise Wilkinson, 31, of Alltygrug Road, Ystalyfera, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 16.

She was caught on July 8 doing 32mph in a Ford Kuga on Birchgrove Road, Glais, which has a limit of 20mph. She was fined £440, given four points on her licence and ordered to pay £176 surcharge and £90 costs.

Lilian Pulpan, 64, of Gate Road, Penygroes, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 17.

She was caught on May 21 doing 47mph in a Fiat Talento on the A4119 Mwyndy, Pontyclun, where the limit is 40mph. She was fined £220, given three points on her licence and ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Jessica Nicole Fisher, 30, Lluest, Ystradgynlais, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 18.

She was caught on July 12 doing 36mph in a Dacia Sandero on the A4109 Main Road/New Road, Aberdulais, a restricted road with a limit of 30mph. She was fined £40, given three points on her licence and ordered to pay £16 surcharge and £90 costs.

Emma Jones, 33, of Ffos yr Efail Terrace, Pontarddulais, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 18.

She was caught on July 25 doing 44mph in a Renault Kadjar on the B4296 Grovesend, which has a 20mph limit. She was fined £369, given six points on her licence and ordered to pay £148 surcharge and £90 costs.

Liam Davies, 34, of Ystalyfera, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 21.

He was caught on July 4 doing 37mph in an Audi A4 on Ynysmeudwy Road, Pontardawe, a restricted road with a 30mph limit. He was fined £80, given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Shane Fairburn, 48, of Glyn Road, Lower Brynamman, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 21.

He was caught on July 13 doing 26mph in an Audi on Birchgrove Road, Glais, where the limit is 20mph. He was fined £338, given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £135 surcharge and £90 costs.

Bruce Wendell Perkins, 65, of Castell Ddu Road, Pontarddulais, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 21.

He was caught on July 25 doing 36mph in a Saab 9-3 on the B4296 Grovesend, where the limit is 20mph. He was fined £80, given five points on his licence and ordered to pay £32 surcharge and £90 costs.

Alfyn John Thomas, 62, of Pontamman Road, Ammanford, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on November 22.

He was caught on May 18 doing 83mph in a BMW 3 Series on the A48 Pensarn, where the limit is 70mph. He was fined £66, given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Kevin Wayne Thomas, 51, of Derw Road, Pontardawe, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 22.

He was caught on September 7 doing 35mph in an Audi A5 outside St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School on Pontardawe Road, Clydach, where the limit is 20mph. He was fined £293, given five points on his licence and ordered to pay £118 surcharge and £90 costs.

Ceri Leigh Webb, 25, of Tirycoed Road, Glanaman, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 22.

She was caught on September 16 doing 51mph in a Seat Ibiza on the A474 Heol y Gors, Cwmgors, a restricted road with a limit of 30mph. She was fined £285, given six points on her licence and ordered to pay £154 surcharge and £90 costs.

Gwendoline Cottam, 42, of Tanydarren, Cilmaengwyn, Pontardawe, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 24.

She was caught on July 7 doing 36mph in a BMW 320D on Ynysmeudwy Road, a restricted road with a 30mph limit. She was fined £220, given three points on her licence and ordered to pay £88 surcharge and £90 costs.

Ian David Morgan, 57, of Heol y Branna, Pontarddulais, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates Court on November 24.

He was caught on August 24 doing 37mph in a VW Golf on the B4296 Grovesend, a restricted road with a 30mph limit. He was fined £440, given five points on his licence and ordered to pay £176 surcharge and £90 costs.
