A CAERPHILLY driver has been banned from the road after being caught drug driving in Cross Hands.
Jared Hammond, 25, of Davies Drive, Caerphilly, admitted two counts of drug driving at Llanelli Magistrates Court on November 24.
He was caught on July 20 driving a Ford Tipper on Cross Hands Industrial Estate with a 81micrograms of Benzoylecgonine and 6.5micrograms of Delta-9-Tetrahydocannabinol in his blood, which led to the two charges.
He was banned from driving for 18 months and fined £250.
He also had to pay £160 surcharge and £85 costs.
